In the summertime, the streams and small lakes become the great attraction of the area. In the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines we point out Prato Spilla, a ski resort at 1350 m above sea level, and Cerreto Laghi (1344 m above sea level).
The village of Equi Terme, on the slopes of Pizzo d'Uccello, in the municipality of Fivizzano, with its caves, hosts the Living Nativity in the Christmas season, with figurants in period costumes. In the renowned spa town, numerous geo-naturalistic trails and museum educational facilities make it a must-see.
